About the Artist
Judith Bigham is an enthusiastic art and design doyenne. She is a painter, muralist, printmaker, and all-around arty gal.
Judith’s work ranges from colorful abstractions to black and white illustrative drawings. She works in a variety of mediums and sizes, from small paintings or drawings on paper to full-scale murals. She has worked with large and small businesses, private clients, and a variety of designers. Her experience in textiles and interior design has made her an excellent artist to work with for those looking for someone who is collaborative and listens to the needs of the client.
Judith attended The Rhode Island School of Design and studied both painting and textile design. Quenching her love of the fine arts and the decorative arts. Her design career has been as colorful and intriguing as Judith herself. She sold hand-printed textiles on the streets of New York, sold her designs to Barney’s NYC and Fred Segal LA. She made retail displays for ABC Carpet and Home NYC, she studied with the great American folk artist Howard Finster and she has forever been immersing herself in all things creative! Her fine art and decorative art background and knowledge inform her work which has its roots in the classical traditions, yet she is always looking forward with vision.
